Hire Terms and Conditions

  • Order must be placed at minimum 7 days before the required date in order to give me time to get it to you. The due return date is set 7 days after the required date.
  • Security Bond is refunded on return of the costume by specified return date.
  • Once your costume is despatched you will receive an email with the tracking no. You can check the progress of your costume at http://auspost.com.au/track/
  • A return pre-paid addressed post bag is included with every hire, for your convenience.

Subject to the following conditions:

  • A fee of $15 per day, will apply should the costume hired not be returned by specified return date.
  • If the order is cancelled before the despatch date a $20 booking is forfeited from the security bond.
  • Once the costume hired has been posted out this constitutes a hire. Should you change your mind or decide costume is unsuitable.The costume cannot be returned for a refund or exchange.
  • Costumes lost or damaged must be paid for in full. Christina reserves the right to set the cost of replacement or repair. The replacement cost is the amount of the security bond. The customer agrees that Christina is entitled to debit the customers bond for the replacement cost or part of for a damaged costume that can be repaired or part of that maybe lost but can be replaced.
  • Any costume not returned within 5 days of the due date will be deemed as lost.
  • Costumes so badly soiled that they unable to be cleaned or damaged so badly that are unable to be repaired will result in loss of the security bond.
  • At all times, the costume remains the property of Christina.
  • The hire of any costume is entirely at the risk of the customer and the customer indemnifies Christina against all actions, liabilities, proceedings, claims, costs and expenses in connection with or arising from the hiring of the costume by the customer from her.

Refund Policy for Sale Items

I try to reduce any room for error as much as possible with accurate sizes and detailed information along with the images. If a costume needs to be returned, I will give you a refund if you post it back promptly and I receive it at the Merriwa PO within 7 days of delivery to you. We are unable to cancel orders that are already prepared and are with Australia post for delivery. The order will need to be delivered then posted back to us. Refunds are for the cost of the merchandise only and do not include postage, handling and Pay Pal charge for payments made. Any return received with missing items or not in the original condition without original packaging intact will not be credited.
